I’ll be preaching my usual sermon on how to cultivate & propagate some of my favorite edible mushroom species at The Tower (128 Cannon St. East) in Hamilton on December 6th, 2-4pm. Here’s a link to the Facebook event page courtesy of the folks over at the Tower. (flyer posted below). Suggested donation of $5-10 would be greatly appreciated but no one interested in learning will be turned down. I will be focusing on oyster mushrooms (mainly Pleurotus ostreatus and P. columbinus), king stropharia (Stropharia rugosoannulata) and field blewits (Lepista personata) but am very much open to discussing whatever it is you may want to learn about in addition to the scheduled material. I’ll probably be talking for approximately an hour and will then stick around for an open conversation regarding mushroom growing or any sort of related subject matter in addition to answering any questions or concerns, either as a group or one-on-one. If you would like to know something before the workshop date then feel free to get a hold of me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
